Divine healing isn't worth a spot on this bar, since the healing isn't too amazing without UA, but shield of absorption would be great.
A res is probably preferable over reversal of fortune, since reversal would kill your energy really quickly, life sheath is enough for spammable prot heals I guess.
This would probably work.

Not far off what I generally run in PvE tbh.
LS / PnH
RoF
SH
SoL
PS
Aegis
EBSoH
EBSoC
I love EbSoH, as long as it's placed around your casters it's super effective.

My personal fave: been running a version since the first few days of factions.
AP-BOONPROT
[Assassins promise] @8
[prot spirit] / [spirit bond]
[seed of life]
[shield of absorb]
[aegis]
[divine spirit] / [selfless spirit]
[divine boon]
[reversal of fortune]
Or a healing variant replacing rof + boon for patient + kiss and speccing some points from prot to heals. Does wonders protting pve with enough energy to abuse PS provided you arent crap at micro+multi task and fail at using ap with some efficiency (which really isnt hard at all to play in truth)
lets you go longer and harder than any other monk bar, provided the area isnt heavily loaded with hex removal, then its suggested to not rely on hex's in general anyway.

If you're tired of UA, HB, and WoH, then definitely like what Zodiac Meteor said, go AP Boon Prot:
[build prof=Mo/A prot=12+1+1 divine=10+1 Deadly=8][Assassins Promise][Reversal of Fortune][Protective Spirit][seed of life][Shield of Absorption][Optional][Aegis][Divine [email protected]][/build]
- [[Selfless Spirit]
- [[Divine Spirit]

lots of good ideas in here, but I don't think anyone has mentioned this combo yet: Glyph of Lesser Energy + Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom + Aegis
simple but effective... near-permanent Aegis prevents a lot of damage.
With your 20% enchant weapon each Aegis lasts for 12+ seconds, and if you have a 20/20 offhand or a staff (and max Ebon Vanguard rank) you have ~66% chance to have Aegis getting HSR, so you should be able to cast it again as soon as it goes down most of the time. The glyph covers the energy cost of the whole chain so it's pretty easy to manage.

Everywhere in PvE, I have used the following for 2+ years (as long as I've been playing):
10+2+1 Healing
10 Prot
11+1 Divine
Glimmer of Light
Seed of Life
Dwayna's Kiss
Shield of Absorption
Patient Spirit
Protective Spirit
Selfless Spirit
Renew Life
Although sometimes I change my res.
I monk EVERYWHERE with that, Normal mode, Hard Mode, UW/FoW/DoA/Urgoz/Deep. I've done it all, no problems. I have never used Healer's Boon and in fact it is still locked on my account, UA is alright I suppose, however.

This is an old build I used to use when i used to monk in 4 man areas like old ascalon HM (and in ABs). None of the skills have changed, so it should still work well.
Boon Signet
Signet of Devotion
RoF/SoA
Dismiss Condition
Guardian
Life Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Blessed Signet
I know its not a LS build but it actually works pretty well and its original. E-management really isnt a problem with Balthazar's Spirit and the passive energy management from the healing sigs. Just maintain Life Bond on your teammates, BS on yourself, and really you shouldnt even have to use Blessed Signet except for outside battle (or if you face energy denial or if your spirit gets stripped).

I've used something like this that was pretty effective.
Aura of Faith
Divine Boon
Dismiss Condition
Seed of Life
Shield of Absorption
Selfless Spirit
Cure Hex
Aegis
The bonus heal from AoF combined with the bonus heal from Boon can be pretty stout.

Disagree. 5 energy for a divine favor linked party heal means even a prot monk has access to decent party maintenance. When I enter an area that's low on priority hexes, I let my heal monk bring cure hex and I run Divine Healing/Heaven's Delight.

With or without UA, Divine Healing/Heaven's Delight is not worth a spot on any bar. The heal is barely 50 even at 13 Divine on a 15 sec recharge. That's not a big enough spike heal take make a difference, and its heal/time (3.375 heal/sec/person) is strictly inferior to other skills at only really low attribute ranks -- Mending [email protected] (4 heal/person/second), Well of [email protected] (4 heal/person/second) -- not to mention skills that seriously outperform it at medium or high attribute ranks -- Vigorous Spirit, Blood Bond, Dwayna's Sorrow cast on minions, PwK, Life, Rejuvenation, Recuperation, Aria/Ballad/Chorus/Finale of Resto, and more.
The only time I would ever consider using one of those skills would be in an AP build where the recharge stopped being an issue. However, AP builds have access to Seed of Life on the same instant recharge.

Yes, except you'd have to bring one of those non-monk characters just for that purpose. That's the point of saying "5e on a prot monk.", as opposed to bringing a motigon that does party heals and nothing else useful.
